So a Tournament with nearly every one of the best sticks in the fishing world battling it out for a $250,000 first place prize doesn’t just happen every day. In fact it really only happens once a year. So can you imagine the pressure of leading the event from day one and going into the last day 5 ½ pounds up on a lake that can cough up 10 pounders?
Dave Lefebre can, he overcame that pressure to become the wire to wire winner of the Toyota Texas Bass Classic which took place October 16th to the 18th on Lake Conroe in Texas.
In his seemingly short professional career Dave has racked up an unbelievable 38 top ten finishes on the FLW tour and has amassed career earnings topping the 1 million dollar mark.
We caught up with Dave and got to learn about his recent win in Texas, his plans for the next couple months and just how he manages to stay on top with all the great anglers on tour today.
