TTBC Announces Concert Lineup


Montgomery Gentry joins Blake Shelton, Tracy Lawrence & Jeff Allen October 2-3

LAKE CONROE, TEXAS – Hit country music group Montgomery Gentry will headline two days of concerts at the Toyota Texas Bass Classic with a performance on Sunday, October 3. Evan Williams Bourbon will present Saturday, October 2, including performances by Academy of Country Music Award winner Blake Shelton and Tracy Lawrence. Emerging country artist Jeff Allen will open for Montgomery Gentry on Sunday.

500th Toyota ShareLunker Caught

April 9, 2010 - Sam Callaway of Corpus Christi, TX caught the 500th Toyota ShareLunker at the O.H. Ivie Reservoir this week.  The largemouth bass came in at 13 pounds. Callaway will collect $500 per pound for his catch, totaling a $6,670 check.

LAKE CONROE, TEXAS
– The Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) will return to Lake Conroe in 2010. The tournament received tremendous support in its first year on the Houston-area lake and will be held for the second time October 1 – 3. Ticketed activities for fans, including concerts, weigh-ins and expo areas, will take place October 2 and 3 at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center. The event benefits the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and its outdoor recreation programs.

CONROE, TEXAS – Tickets to the 2010 Toyota Texas Bass Classic in Conroe, Texas are now on sale at 25 Houston-area Academy Sports + Outdoors stores. The TTBC will feature two days of concerts, Oct. 2-3, headlined by hit country music acts Blake Shelton on Saturday, Oct. 2 and Montgomery Gentry on Sunday, Oct. 3.

Tickets are $15 in advance and are available for Saturday and Sunday individually.  The daily tickets include both grounds admission and admission to all concerts during that day. Concerts and other ticketed events, including tournament weigh-ins, interactive expo areas, fireworks shows and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Outdoor Adventures Area will take place at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center’s Festival Grounds in Conroe. Children 17 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. All active military, police, fire and EMS personnel are free with valid identification.
